Siebel Enterprise Target Discovery Pre-Check Fails With Error "No subject alternative names matching IP address xx.xx.xx.xx found" (Doc ID 2998986.1)

Symptoms

When trying to discover Siebel Enterprise Target in Enterprise Manager(EM) 13.5, discovery pre-check failing and can see the following error in EM console

No Enterprise exists with the specified name

Discovery From Gateway Server Failed

Unable to Discover any Siebel Target

Replication Steps :

1. Install Siebel as per Siebel Installation guide: Installing Siebel CRM

2. Install & configure OMS 13.5: Installing Oracle Enterprise Manager 

3. Apply 13.5 OMS & Agent patches: Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Siebel Plugin 13.5 Release Update Bug List

4. Login to EM console --> Targets --> Siebel

5. Click Add to add New Siebel enterprise targets

6. Provide all details and click Discovery Pre-check

7. Discovery Pre-check fails
