Symptoms

In Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control, When trying to add ASM target from OEM Console it fails with below error:

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges The Connect Descriptor was (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = <HOST_DOMAIN_NAME>)(PORT = <PORTNO>))(CONNECT_DATA = (SID = +ASM)(SERVER = DEDICATED)))
