Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
This document describes the steps in Enterprise Manager (EM) to:
- Discover a TLS enabled Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA)
- Discover a TLS enabled database
- Configure the database to backup to the ZDLRA using secure protocols (TCPS).
- Schedule backups for the database to ZDLRA.
If the ZDLRA or database targets have already been discovered in EM using TCP, monitoring can be switched to use TCPS using the steps outlined below.
