Oracle Fusion Middleware Console Hangs After Login (Doc ID 3022758.1)

Symptoms

After entering credentials to Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control (FMWC), the login page for the FMWC application hangs indefinitely.  Repeated attempts to enter the same or different credentials and sign in to FMWC continues to result in the login page idling and not responding.  Another unusual, though less critical symptom is the FMWC login page is not showing identifying information about the Domain.  Meanwhile, no alerts, warnings, or error messages are recorded in the WebLogic Server Administration Server log files during the login attempts.  Also, the issue reproduces across multiple browsers.  The ultimate impact is business continuity is disrupted because users are not able to manage, monitor, and configure domain, servers, components, and applications through FMWC.
