Goal
The goal of this document is to describe how to extend the maintenance window for the automatic statistics gathering job (GATHER_STATS_JOB). For Oracle10g, the default window is from 10 PM to 6 AM on weekdays, and all day long in weekends.
For Oracle11g, the default window is from 10 PM to 2 AM on weekdays, and from 6 AM for 20 hours in weekends.
