Symptoms
Archive Area metric is not picking up the archive destination when the destination is set to USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST. Due to this you may have cases where the archive area has filled up without warning. Choosing All Metrics under the database home then drilling down on Archive Area then Archive area used (%) shows no data found.
