EM Grid Control 10g or 11g Agent Fails to Upload with Error: 'Uploadxmlfiles Skipped :: OMS Version Not Checked Yet' Through SLB (Doc ID 434390.1)

Symptoms

Grid Control Agent fails to upload to any of the OMS's configured behind a Load Balancer (SLB).

The Agent log/trace file <AGENT_HOME>/sysman/log/emagent.trc shows:

2007-03-16 15:39:27 Thread-209 ERROR ssl: nzos_Handshake failed, ret=29024
2007-03-16 15:39:27 Thread-209 ERROR http: 24: Unable to initialize ssl connection with server, aborting connection attempt
2007-03-16 15:39:27 Thread-209 ERROR pingManager: nmepm_pingReposURL: Cannot connect to https://<HOST>:<PORT>/em/upload: retStatus=-1
