Goal

This document describes the usage of the EMD_MAINTENANCE.EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS dbms_job for Enterprise Manager (EM) Database Control in 10g and above versions of the database.
It also lists the steps to be taken if this job needs to be removed or added back manually.

NOTE : The dbms job EMD_MAINTENANCE.EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS is present in the database running EM Database Control and the note does not apply to EM Grid Control.

 

In no case should EM Database Control be left without the EMD maintenance jobs scheduled.
This procedure is only provided in case maintenance is required as requested by Oracle Support.
