 This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to Clone an Agent from within the Linux x86 Grid Control GUI 10.2.0.5.

The "Management Agent Cloning" is an installation option that allows you to make
copies of your existing running Management Agents so that the same configuration
changes are carried over to the newly cloned Management Agent instance - either on a single host or multiple hosts. This saves time and effort in patching a fresh installation all over again and bringing it to the current state.

Starting with 10.2.0.5 Grid Control, the ability to Clone an Agent to a Target machine was added to the tool. In previous versions Cloning was done from command line only.
