Purpose

Depending on the business need and application design, there may be circumstances where an individual belongs to multiple groups, or may be given security class access rights individually.

The purpose of this document is to address questions that arise when there are conflicting security class access rights between multiple groups, or when there are conflicting rights between an individual user who belongs to a group and is also assigned security class access rights individually.

Scope

This document is intended for Hyperion Financial Management administrators who are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of security classes and access rights for an application.
