Symptoms

Windows client cannot connect to Hyperion Essbase when creating an Hyperion Essbase map.
Client machine receives network error:
"Error 1042032:  unable to detect essbase server listening on IPv4 or IPv6 network protocols on hostname - [hostname of Essbase Server]". 

It works perfectly when connecting directly to Essbase on the Oracle Hyperion Strategic Finance (HSF) server, but when running on a Windows client, it can't find the Hyperion Essbase server.

User can connect to the Hyperion Essbase Administrator Console successfully from the client machine.
