11.1.1.x Installer Fails on Windows 2008 / Windows 7 Due to UAC (User Account Control) (Doc ID 1367882.1)

11.1.1.x installer fails on Windows 2008 / Windows 7 because UAC is enabled on the Windows OS. When launching the installer, the installer window closes in 30 secs with an error as follows:

User Account Control is enabled. Installation may lead to unpredictable results and thus will be stopped.
Some of preinstall checks failed. Correct it and rerun installation.
Writing logs to "C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\installTool-install-stdout.log" and "C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\installTool-install-stderr.log"

The window will be closed automatically in 30 seconds."
