Cannot log in to Hyperion Strategic Finance (Doc ID 1520732.1)

After changing the HSF Default Port from 7750, users can no longer access or log onto HSF.

Symptoms

Users cannot log into Hyperion Strategic Finance and the following error persists in the Application.evt log in the windows event viewer.

There was a failure with Hyperion® Shared Services Registry, contact your Strategic Finance representative for assistance.

Error in java method: SF_getServerSettings.

 The HSF port number was changed from 7750 to something else.
