Symptoms
In Financial Reporting Studio, opening an existing report or establishing new Essbase datasource connection returns the following error:
1003 Error: Create connection failed [Cannot connect to Provider Server. java.net.UnknownHostException: USD=$,EURO=€ [APS_URL=HTTP://USD=$,EURO=€:13080/aps/JAPI, OlapServer=server_name]]
The same error message appears in Workspace when performing HTML Preview of any Financial Reporting report or establishing existing or new Essbase datasource connection from Tools->Database Connection Manager.

Value of "USD=$,EURO=Ç" has been entered for attribute "EssbaseJAPIServer" in Financial Reporting Java Console.
