Validation Rules In Planning Forms Fail Due to the Decimal Values not Being Rounded Off
(Doc ID 1542561.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 23, 2024
Applies to:
Hyperion Planning - Version 11.1.2.1.600 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
october 2014
Symptoms
When comparing two cells in one column to check the values, the rule works fine. Planning form displays a whole number when the cells are not edited. However, if the cursor is placed on the cell to edit it, some cells show up with the decimal value. For example, 99 shows up as 98.99.
When such cells are compared, the validation rule errors out due to the value in the cell not being rounded off.
