Oracle Exalytics Patchset 3 (PS3) Now Available for Oracle Exalytics (Doc ID 1587470.1)

Purpose

Oracle Exalytics Patchset 3 (PS3) is now available and is intended and recommended for any Exalytics environment. This patch includes updated image software, utilities and software applications updates (OBIEE, TimesTen, etc.). When fully installed, Exalytics PS3, upgrades the Exalytics server to version 1.0.0.3.0 and the base image to version 1.0.0.5.0.

Oracle Exalytics customers who are currently on Oracle Exalytics Release 1 Patchset 2 (Oracle Exalytics Base Image 1.0.0.4) may directly upgrade to Exalytics PS3.

Customers who are currently on a lower patchset (i.e. base Exalytics release 1.0.0.0.0, or Exalytics PS1, 1.0.0.1.0), first need to apply the PS2 patch and then apply the PS3 patch. Details on applying the PS2 patch may be found in <Note 1519226.1> Oracle Exalytics Patchset 2 (PS2) Now Available for Oracle Exalytics V1.0.0.0.0 and 1.0.0.1.0.

NOTE: You do not need to apply the individual product patches (i.e. OBIEE patches, TT patches) in PS2. You only need the configuration utilities and image software updates to proceed to PS3 installation.
