Symptoms

It is not possible to connect to Hyperion Strategic Finance (HSF) through SmartView using a redirect URL. All environments are able to connect directly to the Shared Workspace URL: http:\WorkspaceServer:19000\WorkSpace\SmartViewProviders. An XML file on the web server is used to load balance and redirect private connections.

Testing a direct web browser URL sees the SmartView connection: localhost:8900\StrategicPlanning\SmartView, but XML rediriect is not working.
