Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In an ASO outline, after adding a Time Balance tag to a member in the Accounts dimension, the validation is failing with the errors:

Apr: This prototype should have same number of shared members as its previous sibling.
Jul: This prototype should have same number of shared members as its previous sibling. This prototype must have each of its shared members as next sibling to its previous sibling's shared members.
Oct: This prototype should have same number of shared members as its previous sibling.

If an EPMA outline, you will see the error:

\\Outline verification errors:
\\This date-type dimension requires all prototypes to have same number of shared members. Member [Apr] has a different number of shares than its previous sibling.
\\This date-type dimension requires all prototypes to have same number of shared members. Member [Jul] has a different number of shares than its previous sibling.
\\This date-type dimension requires all prototypes to have their shared members in same order. Member [Jul] shared members follows a different order than its previous sibling.
\\This date-type dimension requires all prototypes to have same number of shared members. Member [Oct] has a different number of shares than its previous sibling.

The time dimension is multiple hierarchies enabled with all hierarchies as stored and shared members at zero level.
