OBIEE 11g: Using Variables In URL With Embedded Content Causes Error - "Script Injection Suspected" (Doc ID 1940367.1)

Symptoms

Inserting a new Link within  an Embedded Content causes the following error:
 
"Script Injection Suspected"

Reproducible Case
-----------------
1. Create static repository variable BI_PATH contains above server:port.
   Example:BI_PATH = <hostname>:9704

2.Create a new dashboard.


3. Edit above dashboard and insert link contains BI_PATH variable to Embedded Content.

     http://@{biServer.variables['BI_PATH']}/analytics"

4.Failure with the following error: "Script Injection Suspected"
