Unable To Connect To EBS Release 12 Database Using Discoverer After Changing APPS User Password

Have integrated Discoverer 11g 22.214.171.124.0 with EBS Release 12.
After changing APPS user password in EBS Release 12, unable to connect with discoverer Viewer 11g to Oracle Applications (EBS) database. Getting following error:
A connection error.
- A connection error.
- Failed to connect to database - Unable to connect to Oracle Applications database (afscpgcs)
EBS was upgraded from 126.96.36.199 to 12.1.3 and database from 10.2.0.4 to 188.8.131.52.
