HSF Cannot Open Maps With Error: "HSF14418 Cannot Initialize Oracle Essbase Integration" (Doc ID 1998805.1)

Symptoms

New Client machine and client installation of HSF and Smart View

User can log into another client machine and access maps successfully.

User receives the following error opening maps in HSF Client on new machine:


HSF14418: Cannot Initialize Oracle Essbase integration
The essbase integration support components cannot be started. The values of the environment variables ESSBASEPATH and ARBORPATH may not be set correctly.
Reinstallation of Strategic Finance, or the installation of the Oracle Hyperion Essbase Client component may be necessary.
