Extended Search in Dashboard prompts Does Not Work if Case sensitive is Checked

Using the extended search for a combo box in a dashboard-prompt does not deliver any results if the checkbox- case sensitive is checked.
This is happening only when the database is Essbase and not happening with Oracle database
