Refresh to Essbase appears to Hang or not complete (Doc ID 2064409.1)

Symptoms

Refresh from Planning to Essbase does not complete.  Services seem to hang.  Essbase application appears to use a lot of memory on the essbase server (esssrv) or it stops responding:
Error(1042017)
Network error: Timed out before receiving all data

 

Changes

 Planning refresh occurs that triggers a restructure of a database (plan type) in Essbase
