Goal

In OBIEE 11g and older versions it is document to use the staticports.ini file during installation when you want to configure specific ports vs. using a defined port range.

In OBIEE 12c, it is not documented how to use the staticports.ini file and configuring the staticports.ini file is not available on the configuration assistant screen.
