Symptoms
- Receiving an error in Smart View while connecting to Essbase Data Source: "unable to connect to the Provider"
Below errors found in Oracle EPM System Diagnostics:
- FAILED HTTP: HTTP Checking availability of HTTP context http://<APS _Server>:19000/aps/APS
or
FAILED WEB: Web Application Availability of Web application context http://<APS _Server>:13080/aps/APS
and - FAILED HTTP: HTTP Checking availability of HTTP context http://<APS _Server>:19000/essbase-webservices/AdminService?wsdl
or
FAILED WEB: Web Application Availability of Web application context http://<APS _Server>:13080/essbase-webservices/AdminService?wsdl
Error: Bad response codes with both GET and POST methods: 404 and 404
Recommended Action: Check that the application is started
