Purpose

The document provides step by step instructions on how to integrate OBIEE and OAM SSO using OHS 12c WebGates for OAM and setting OID as the Identity Store.

Scope

This document is informational and intended for Administrators and Advanced Users.
Before reading this document, the user must have a good understanding of Weblogic Server, OBIEE, OAM SSO (IAM), OHS 12c WebGates for OAM and OID (IDM).
The user must have experience installing all those products and creating and extending Weblogic domains as this document does not detail installations.
The user must have functional knowledge about OID (using the OID console to create users and groups) and OAM (using the OAM console to define protected resources and responses).
This document is intended as a "cookbook" enhancement to the documentation to fill in any gaps, missing or ambiguous information and to tie multiple documentation together in one location.  It is not meant to replace the official documentation.
This example documents a self-contained machine (single server). If you install different components on different machines (such as the Enterprise Deployment Guide example), then please configure accordingly or follow the Enterprise Deployment Guide.
This document was created based on the product versions listed below; however, you should always ensure you are using certified combinations if you are using higher or different versions of the product.
