OBIEE 11g: After Patchset Upgrade, Changing Permissions On Any New Or Existing Dashboard Fails With Error 'Assertion Failure: !tAccountID.isEmpty()...' (Doc ID 2107371.1)

Symptoms

After applying the 11.1.1.9.0 patchset, trying to change the permissions on any existing dashboard or provide any permissions to new dashboards causes the following error.




Assertion failure: !tAccountId.isEmpty() at line 282 of project/websecurity/aclimpl.cpp



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. login to analytics
  2. change the permission of dashboard

Recently performed an out of place upgrade  (note: out-of-place upgrades for 11g are not supported)
