Financial Reporting (FR) Batch Scheduler Bursting Partially Fails With Error "Parent Folders File system directory does not exist. File system maybe corrupted" (Doc ID 2164818.1)

Symptoms

You're running FR batches in a High Availability (HA) environment (i.e., multiple FR instances along with multiple Report And Analysis Framework (RAF) services, split over two or more physical servers). Per the requirement for HA setups, each RAF server references the same writable shared file system location (RM1 folder) as the repository directory (e.g., \\SharedHost\SharedLocation\data\RM1). When running FR batches with bursting defined, some of the output reports/folders are created in the designated Workspace folders, but some output fails to be generated. The FRLogging.log file (under <MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\FinancialReporting0\logs) shows instances of this error:
