Unable To Expand User Directory In Shared Services when using IE 11 (Doc ID 2166823.1)

Symptoms

In the Shared Services console, you're attempting to expand the User Directory, but nothing happens when you click the "+" icon.  This occurs for Internet Explorer 11 but not for Internet Explorer 9.  It occurs in Mozilla Firefox as well.
