Financial Close Management (FCM) Validation Is Failing And SOA Tasks Are Failing to Start (Doc ID 2172397.1)

Symptoms

When running the FCM validation, failures are resulting. In FCM, SOA tasks are not starting as expected. The following error is seen in the SOA diagnostic log:

"[2016-04-15T07:27:33.526-05:00] [soa_server1] [WARNING] [LIBOVD-40067] [oracle.ods.virtualization.engine.backend.jndi.VDS Authenticator] [tid: Timer-6] [userId: smoparyk] [ecid: bd0de272630c49c7:-70447b25:15418b6b59f:-8000-00000000000009bc,1:19261] [APP: soa-infra] Server <ServerName> is down. But it is the only server configured, thus keep it alive."
