OBIEE 11.1.1.9.x and 12c: Master Detail Linking Not Working Across Reports (Doc ID 2179530.1)

Symptoms

When using OBIEE 11.1.1.9 (all versions) and/or OBIEE 12c, a report with master detail event on column properties is not working. Report has interaction set to 'Sent Master Details event' and also includes  a Horizontal Bar chart.  In the General tab, it is set to "Listen to Master-Detail Events." When trying to click on the column for sending Master detail event, the report data is refreshed, however the prompt is not changing its value. The same dashboard page works fine in OBIEE 11.1.1.7.x

For example:
Set the following 3 analyses in a dashboard:

• Analysis 1 has interaction set to "Sent Master Details event"
• Analysis 2 and Analysis 3 has bar graph with prompt, and in the General tab, it is set to "Listen to Master-Detail Events"

When trying to click on the column of analysis1 for sending Master detail event, the data in analysis2 and analysis3 are refreshed, however the prompts are not changing their value. The same dashboard page works fine in OBIEE 11.1.1.7.x
