OBIEE 12c: Reports Failing With "[nQSError: 52061] The cache entry /.../obis1/cache/NQS__XXXX.TBL, has been corrupted" While Seeding Cache First Time (Doc ID 2231313.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) , 12c,

NQSSERVER cache is enabled but for first run of the report to seed cache, it fails with below error message captured in report session log

Query Result Cache: [59123] The query for user 'xxxx' was not inserted into the query result cache.
Additional information (if any): '[nQSError: 52061] The cache entry, /ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/DOMAIN_NAME/servers/obis1/cache/NQS__xxxxxx_xxxxx_xxxx.TBL, has been corrupted;
could not finish the operation in Local row count mismatch. We have attempted to remove this entry. Please re-issue your query. If the problem persists, please restart OBIS to resolve the issue.'.
