Applies to:
Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition - Version 11.1.2.4.210 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Using Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition version 11.1.2.4.210 on an Exalytics, Release 2.0.0.1.0 server with Linux 6.7, kernel version 2.6.39-400.281.1.el6uek.x86_64.
Under Data Management -> Validation Errors -> Generate Intersection Check Report -> PDF file gets created and can be opened successfully when the browser, (IE or Firefox) is set to English language.
But, if the same steps are done and the browser language is set to Portuguese, the PDF file cannot be opened in Acrobat reader and an error occurs:
"Adobe Reader could not open .pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."
The Adobe Reader version is 11 and the language settings in the reader are set to Portuguese.
