Business rule validation in Planning on an Exalytics server fails when the business rule contains a @WITHATTR (ATTRIBUTE FUNCTION). For example, validation fails when the code contains an IF clause with contents like:

When running the same code in Calc Manager and validating in the Script Editor, the calc editor reports:

 "Syntax check was successful."

The business rules can be successfully deployed, but the error message is concerning to users.
Problem occurs in two different server environments: Essbase server and Essbase
