Error Occurs When Starting WebLogic Managed Server: "Boot identity not valid" (Doc ID 2340294.1)

Symptoms

You're attempting to start the WebLogic Managed Server but an error is thrown: "Boot identity not valid; The user name and/or password from the boot identity file (boot.properties) is not valid. The boot identity may have been changed since the boot identity file was created."

Changes

In an attempt to clean up the system or to troubleshoot, you recently deleted the Tmp, Cache, Data and Security subfolders under the Admin Server directory (default location for Oracle EPM is Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\AdminServer folder).
