OBIEE12c on Exalytics: Unable To Create New Data Source From Visual Analyzer When Using SSL enabled Load Balancer (Doc ID 2409761.1)

Unable to create a new data source connection from Oracle Applications in OBIEE12c Visual Analyzer.

Steps followed for testing are as below:

1. Login to OBIEE Visual Analyzer, Select Create New Data Source from Oracle applications.

2. Under 'Add a New Connection' provide required values for New Connection Name, URL , Username , password.

3. Click Save and the test connection fails with error.

"Failed to save the connection.
Invalid connect string / url to external source"

SSL is enabled on load balancer side. In this case third party load balancer Netscalar is used.

NOTE: SSL is not enabled in OBIEE.
