Using of Session and Repository variables in Oracle Analytics (OAC and OAS)

  


You are creating a calculation in Data Visualization and you need to reference a Repository and a Session variable.

When viewing the inline help for the ValueOf function and utilizing the syntax, it fails with a syntax errorl


There is only one reference to VALUEOF in the Conversion Functions section of the on-premises documentation.

There are two references [Conversion Functions and Syntax for Referencing Variables] in the Oracle Analyics Cloud (OAC) documentation.

How should the variables be referenced for display in Data Visualization?
