Symptoms

Periodically, while users are navigating through Workspace, their session is disrupted with an error: "Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - System 9 Platform error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError. com.sqribe.transformer.TransformerException: Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - System 9 Platform error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError.  at com.sqr". Subsequent attempts to sign into Workspace fail.

In some cases, restarting the Reporting & Analysis (R&A) services temporarily clears the problem.
