Hyperion Foundation Service Crashes Upon Login to Workspace With An Active Directory (AD) Account (Doc ID 2442004.1)

Symptoms

Whenever an AD user attempts to login to Workspace, the login fails and the Foundation Services stops running.

In the FoundationService0.log file (Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\FoundationServices0\logs), "StuckThreadMaxTime" errors can be seen.

Changes

The AD user hierarchy had been modified, such that groups of users are nested inside other groups.
