Hyperion Strategic Finance - Version 11.1.2.4.002 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After checking out an entity and building a freestyle report, if the user unchecks the edit box option for the report, the user is prompted to save it. When selecting OK to save, all formulas are changed, incorrectly to the following in each cell: = xxxH $ Fxxx = H19-I19 right = H19-I19
This error occurs when connected to the HSF Server and using the check out function.
Working with the Local ALC file, if you clear the edit box and select OK to save the following occurs:
1) In formula fields, when the field formatting is numeric, the formula does not change, it does not give error.
2) When the formula field is numeric and you have the option to format the number by placing a semicolon, the formatting of the field changes to "Accounting" and when you click save the formula is changed by placing an "x" in front of the formula , leaving the formula incorrect.
3) In fields containing formula the field formatting can not be "Accounting", however the field must be formatted with "." And comma. Example 13.456,00
