Essbase Studio Catalog Import Fails With Error "Incorrect version of catalog. Incorrect tag name 'keep TemplateVar' in composite value " (Doc ID 2502486.1)

Symptoms

Exported catalog from production Essbase Studio server and importing same fails on development server with the error:

Failed to import file cube_prod_18jan.xml.
Reason:
Error in the external procedure 'runImportScript'.Line=552
Error trying to import object to catalog.Possible reasons:duplicate object in existing catalog, Incorrect version of catalog.
Incorrect tag name 'keep TemplateVar' in composite value

 

Changes

Essbase Studio server was patched.
