Symptoms
Getting an error when attempting to connect to a Teradata 16.xx database from Essbase Studio.
The Essbase Studio server.log in debug mode shows errors similar to the following:
[<date time>] [hyperion] [ERROR] [ESSSTD-145023] [com.hyperion.cp.driver] [host: <host>] [nwaddr: <ip-adress>] [tid: <tid>] [userId: <user id>] [ecid: <ecid>] [SRC_CLASS: com.hyperion.cp.driver.adapters.sql.teradata.TeraDataConnection] [SRC_METHOD: createSQLConnection] Unable to establish connection to Teradata server: [Teradata JDBC Driver] [TeraJDBC 16.20.00.05] [Error 1536] [SQLState HY000] Invalid connection parameter name <database name>/DBS_PORT.
