Symptoms
When trying to edit a Text field in a report in FR Web Studio using Internet Explorer, unable to set the text formatting.
When a text field is added to a Report Header, Body, or Footer, the formatting (Bold, Italic, Underline, and/or Strike through) can be set. Once the text field is closed and re-opened, and the text high lighted, the formatting can't be changed. When the formatting selection is made, the highlighting is removed, and there is no change to the font.
In Firefox, when a word is highlighted and the desired formatting icon is selected, the font changes to the selected formatting .
