Problem Summary
---------------------------------------------------
OBIEE 12c - Issue with Initblock/User ID session variable case.

Problem Description
---------------------------------------------------
In OBIEE 12c

file : NQSConfig.INI

UPPERCASE_USERNAME_FOR_INITBLOCK = YES; # default is no

YES –  unable to login to analytics.
NO – able to login but it should YES as per the 11 version. However user_id session variable is taking whatever case they enter while logging into system.

In 11g:

file : NQSConfig.INI

UPPERCASE_USERNAME_FOR_INITBLOCK = YES; # default is no

Defining this as "YES" allowed users to login with lower/upper case and usage logging/userId session variable always displays as unppercase.

Refer to attached NQSconfig files on both instances and screenshot of the issue.
