Symptoms

Unable to start or create a new Essbase application. The application log shows the errors:

NZERROR: nzos_Handshake failed(29024)
[Mon Aug 17 03:30:03 2020]Local/ESSBASE0///41052/Error(1051544)
message on contacting or from application:
[Mon Aug 17 03:30:03 2020]Local////41052/Error(1042006)
Network error [0]: Failed to connect to [[::1]:6423]
[Mon Aug 17 03:30:03 2020]Local/ESSBASE0///41052/Error(1054001)
Cannot load application <appname>with error number [1042006] - see server log file
