Essbase: Unable To Connect To Essbase Server from the Essbase Administration Services (EAS) Console or MaxL (Doc ID 2735658.1)

Symptoms

After the installation and configuration of the Essbase server, unable to connect through EAS or login using MaxL.  The console_Essbase1_EssbaseAgent_AGENT_1.log has the following error when starting Essbase:

Fatal Error: Cannot find ARBORPATH [\\UNCpath\Oracle\Middleware]
