"Failed to Load(Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW)" Error when Searching in Prompt of SQL Results (Doc ID 2847757.1)

Symptoms

You have created a dashboard prompt using SQL Results for Choice List Values. The Choice List is displayed as expected.

When you try to search for the results in the searching window, the error "Failed to load(Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW)" returned after entering the search string.

This issue can be reproduced with the following sample steps:

  1. Create a dashboard prompt with the following SQL
  2. The Choice List is displayed as expected.
  3.  Click "Search", enter any string to search, "Failed to load(Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW)" error returned.
