Option to 'View By' 'User Properties' within DRM hierarchies not working

Symptoms
When viewing a DRM hierarchy tree, users are unable to change the display columns by going to Options>View By>User Properties. When the option is selected, a windows appears that allows you to select other than the Default, but after you click OK, nothing changes in the Tree view, and Default is still checked instead of User Properties.
