MaxL Client Failing To Connect To SSL Enabled EPM Essbase Server (Doc ID 2923116.1)

Symptoms

Cannot  connect to SSL enabled Essbase (as part of EPM 11.2.8) server using MaxL Client installed on separate system.

1) Imported root certificate to the cacerts on the client
2) Copied the cwallet from the server to the wallet locations on the clientsystem
3) Essbase.cfg were also created on the client pointing to the wallet location
4) Set the env variables for Maxl .

Env variables set on the client -
API_DISABLE_PEER_VERIFICATION=1

Running Maxl -

MAXL> login;
Enter UserName> admin
Enter Password> ********
Enter Host> EssbaseCluster-1:secure

ERROR - 103 - Unexpected Essbase error 1030818.
ERROR - 1040159 - Secure session can not be created because SSL initialization failed..
ERROR - 1040160 - Secure connection can not be established because SSL initialization failed.
ERROR - 1030818 - The client timed out waiting to connect to Essbase
Agent. Check your network connections, host and port values, and that Essbase is started..
