EPM 11.2.x - EPM Services Cannot be Started After the Uninstall of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 From the Server (Doc ID 2956768.1)

Hyperion BI+ - Version 11.2.7.0.000 and later
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

When trying to start up EPM services from the Services Panel, it fails with the following error -

Windows could not start the Oracle Hyperion Foundation Services - Managed server (epmsystem1) service on Local computer

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

The managed servers are starting when started manually using a command similar to the following -

startManagedWebLogic.cmd FoundationServices0 (from <ORACLE_HOME>\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\bin folder)
